Section 105 of title 17, United States Code, is amended— in the heading of subsection (b), by striking and inserting Certain of Works ; Certain Works in the first subsection
(c)(relating to Use by Federal Government ) by striking The Secretary of Defense and inserting A covered Secretary ; by redesignating the second subsection
(c)(relating to Definitions ) as subsection (d); and in subsection (d), as redesignated by paragraph (3), in paragraph (2), by adding at the end the following: United States Merchant Marine Academy. ; by redesignating paragraph
(3)as paragraph (4); and by inserting after paragraph
(2)the following new paragraph: The term covered Secretary means— the Secretary of Transportation, with respect to the United States Merchant Marine Academy; the Secretary of Homeland Security, with respect to the United States Coast Guard Academy; or the Secretary of Defense, with respect to any other covered institution under paragraph (2). .
