Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense, shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives, the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate, and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives an unclassified report, which may include a classified annex, that includes— a detailed assessment of whether and how Iranian arms proliferation, particularly drone proliferation, has increased following the expiration of the United Nations arms embargo on Iran in October 2020; and a description of the measures that the Departments of State and Defense are taking to constrain Iran's ability to supply, sell, or transfer, directly or indirectly, arms or related materiel, including spare parts, to include Iranian proliferation of drones.
