Section 188 of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act ( 29 U.S.C. 3248 ) is amended— in subsection (a)(5), by adding at the end the following: Provided that it shall not be a violation of this paragraph to exclude any individual from participation or employment in programs or activities receiving Federal financial assistance where such participation or employment, or access to the premises upon which any part of such program, activity, or employment is performed, is subject to any requirements imposed in the interest of the national security of the United States under any security program in effect pursuant to or administered under any statute or regulation of the United States, Executive Order of the President, or other Federal contractual requirement, and such individual does not meet such requirements. ; and in subsection
(e)is amended by striking Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and inserting Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2022 .
