Section 914 of the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2010 ( Public Law 111–281 ) is transferred to chapter 5 of title 14, United States Code, inserted after section 508, and redesignated as section 509. Section 509 of title 14, United States Code (as redesignated under subsection (a)), is amended— by amending subsection
(a)to read as follows: At the request of the Commandant, the Administrator of the General Services Administration may transfer ownership of a Coast Guard vessel or aircraft to an eligible entity for use for educational, cultural, historical, charitable, recreational, or other public purposes if such transfer is authorized by law. ; and in subsection (b)— in paragraph (1)— by inserting as if such a request were being processed after vessels ; and by inserting , as in effect on the date of enactment of the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2021 after Code of Federal Regulations ; and in paragraph
(2)by inserting , as in effect on the date of enactment of the Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2021 after such title .
