Subsection
(d)of section 120 of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3060 ) is amended— by striking Not later and inserting the following: Not later ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: Each report under paragraph
(1)shall include a description of any obstacles or gaps relating to— the Council fulfilling its duties and responsibilities under subsection (c); or the responsiveness of the intelligence community to the climate security needs and priorities of the policymaking elements of the Federal Government. . Such section 120 is amended— in subsection (b)(1)(B)(v), by inserting and Security after for Intelligence ; by redesignating the second subsection
(e)as subsection (f); and in subsection (e), by striking the date that is 4 years after the date of the enactment of this section and inserting December 31, 2025 .
