Section 4611 is amended by striking subsection (e). Section 4611(c)(2)(A) is amended by striking 9.7 cents and inserting 16.4 cents . Section 4611(c) is amended by adding at the end the following: In the case of a year beginning after 2023, the amount in paragraph (2)(A) shall be increased by an amount equal to— such amount, multiplied by the cost-of-living adjustment determined under section 1(f)(3) for the calendar year, determined by substituting calendar year 2022 for calendar year 2016 in subparagraph (A)(ii) thereof. If any amount as adjusted under subparagraph
(A)is not a multiple of $0.01, such amount shall be rounded to the next lowest multiple of $0.01. . Section 9507(d)(3)(B) is amended by striking December 31, 1995 and inserting December 31, 2032 . The amendments made by this section shall take effect on January 1, 2023.
