Section 12 of the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) is amended— in paragraph,
(1)by inserting the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, after means ; and in paragraph (2), by inserting the Office of Management and Budget, after means . The Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) is amended by adding after section 8N the following new section: The Inspector General of the Office of Management and Budget shall only have jurisdiction over those matters that have been specifically assigned to the Office under law. . Not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the President shall appoint an individual to serve as the Inspector General of the Office of Management and Budget in accordance with section 3(a) of the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.).
