Section 1263(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 ( 22 U.S.C. 2656 note) is amended— in paragraph (3), by striking ; or and inserting a semicolon; in paragraph (4), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; or ; and by adding at the end the following: is convicted of a severe form of trafficking in persons, as such term is defined in section 103 of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 ( 22 U.S.C. 7105 ). .
