Sec. 139. Establishment of investigation units on forced labor at the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security

Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Attorney General shall establish a team of 10 agents within the Department of Justice Civil Rights Unit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation to be assigned to exclusively investigate labor trafficking. There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subsection for each of fiscal years 2022 to 2026, $2,000,000, to remain available until expended. Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Homeland Security shall establish a team of 10 agents within the Department of Homeland Security Center for Countering Human Trafficking to be assigned to exclusively investigate labor trafficking.
There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subsection for each of fiscal years 2022 to 2026, $2,000,000, to remain available until expended.
