Section 604(d) of the Healthy Forests Restoration Act of 2003 ( 16 U.S.C. 6591c(d) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: In the case of a contract or agreement between the Chief or Director and the private persons or other public or private entities described in subsection
(b)entered into before February 7, 2014, at the request of such private persons or other public or private entities, the Chief or Director, as applicable, shall modify such contract or agreement to include the fire liability provisions described in paragraph (7). .
