Section 102 of the Foreign Service Act of 1980 ( 22 U.S.C. 3902 ) is amended by— redesignating paragraphs
(5)through
(12)as paragraphs
(6)through (13), respectively; and inserting after paragraph
(4)the following new paragraph: diversity has the meaning given such term in subsection
(i)of section 1 of the State Department Basic Authorities Act of 1956 ( 22 U.S.C. 2651a ); .
