Sec. 71108. Prohibition on Sale of American Mink

No person may possess, acquire, receive, transport, offer for sale, sell, or purchase any American mink ( Neovison vison ) raised in captivity for fur production. A violation of subsection
(a)shall be treated as an act prohibited by section 3 of the Lacey Act Amendments of 1981 ( 16 U.S.C. 3372 ) and is subject to penalty pursuant to section 4 of that Act ( 16 U.S.C. 3373 ). This section shall take effect on December 31, 2022.
