Sec. 30235. Report on American employment in international organizations

Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act and annually thereafter, the Secretary of State, in consultation with the heads of other Federal departments and agencies as appropriate, shall develop and submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report on how many Federal employees are currently detailed or transferred to an international organization during the immediately preceding 1-year period and a strategy for increasing the number of Federal employees so detailed or transferred. Each report required by subsection
(a)shall include the following: The number of Federal employees detailed or transferred to an international organization under section 3343 of title 5, United States Code, and subpart C of title 5, Code of Federal Regulations (relating to the detail and transfer of Federal employees to international organizations), including— an identification of the Federal agency from which such employees were detailed or transferred; and an identification of the international organizations to and from which such employees have been so detailed or transferred. A list of international organizations to and from which the United States previously detailed or transferred Federal employees.
