Sec. 30219. Authorization of appropriations for the Fulbright-Hays Program

There are authorized to be appropriated, for the 5-year period beginning on October 1, 2021, $105,500,000, to promote education, training, research, and foreign language skills through the Fulbright-Hays Program, in accordance with section 102(b) of the Mutual Educational and Cultural Exchange Act of 1961 ( 22 U.S.C. 2452(b) ). Section 3(i) of Executive Order No. 13936 (relating to the termination of the Fulbright exchange program with regard to China and Hong Kong with respect to future exchanges for participants traveling both from and to China or Hong Kong) is nullified and shall have no force or effect, and Fulbright exchanges with China and Hong Kong shall carry on as if such section had not be included in such Executive Order.
