Sec. 71024. Joint enforcement with allies with respect to importation of goods made with stolen intellectual property

Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the United States Trade Representative, in coordination with the Secretary of State, should seek to enter into negotiations with representatives from Australia, Canada, the European Union, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, and the United Kingdom to stop the importation of goods made with stolen intellectual property into the United States and countries that are allies of the United States. Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Trade Representative, in coordination with the Secretary of State, shall submit a report on the status of negotiations described in subsection
(a)to— the Committee on Finance and Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate; and the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Ways and Means of the House of Representatives.
