Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Commander of United States Special Operations Command shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report on POTFF. The report under this section shall include the following: An assessment of the human performance domain of current programs and activities, including— physical conditioning; exercise physiology; kinesiology; nutrition guidance; rehabilitative support (including physical therapy); and mental skills training (including sports psychology).
A description of efforts of the Commander to assess the unique needs of members of special operations forces, including women and minorities. An assessment of the effectiveness of POTFF in addressing such unique needs. Plans of the Commander to improve POTFF to better address such unique needs. In this section: The term POTFF means the Preservation of the Force and Family Program of United States Special Operations Command under section 1788a of title 10, United States Code. The term special operations forces means the forces described in section 167(j) of title 10, United States Code.
