Sec. 1650. Report on senior leadership of Missile Defense Agency

Not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director of the Missile Defense Agency shall submit to the congressional defense committees a report detailing the following: The responsibilities of the positions of the Director, Sea-based Weapons Systems, and the Deputy Director of the Missile Defense Agency. The role of the officials who occupy these positions with respect to the functional combatant commands with missile defense requirements. The rationale and benefit of having an official in these positions who is a general officer or flag officer versus a civilian.
