Section 1251(e) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 ( Public Law 116–283 ) is amended by adding at the end the following: A description of the manner and extent to which the amounts, summaries, and comparisons required by this subsection directly address the items identified in— the independent assessment required under section 1253 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 ( Public Law 116–92 ); and the plan required by subsection (d). .
