Sec. 534. Definitions of military magistrate, special victim offense, and special victim prosecutor

Section 801 of title 10, United States Code (article 1 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice), is amended— by inserting after paragraph
(10)the following new paragraph: The term military magistrate means a commissioned officer certified for duty as a military magistrate in accordance with section 826a of this title (article 26a). . by adding at the end the following new paragraphs: The term special victim offense means— an offense under section 917a (article 117a), section 919a (article 119a), section 919b (article 119b), section 920 (article 120), section 925 (article 125), section 920b (article 120b), section 920c (article 120c), section 920d (article 120d), section 928b (article 128b), section 930 (article 130), section 932 (article 132), or section 934 (article 134) (as it relates to child pornography, pandering, and prostitution) of this title; any offense under this chapter in a case in which the victim of the offense was a child who had not attained the age of 18 years as of the date of the offense; a conspiracy to commit an offense specified in subparagraph
(A)or
(B)as punishable under section 881 of this title (article 81); a solicitation to commit an offense specified in subparagraph
(A)or
(B)as punishable under section 882 of this title (article 82); an attempt to commit an offense specified in subparagraph (A), (B), (C), or
(D)as punishable under section 880 of this title (article 80); or The term special victim prosecutor means a judge advocate detailed as the special victim prosecutor of an armed force in accordance with section 824a(a)(1) of this title (article 24a(a)(1)). The term assistant special victim prosecutor means a judge advocate detailed as an assistant special victim prosecutor in accordance with section 824a(a)(2) of this title (article 24a(a)(2)). .
