Section 3005(b) of the FAST Act (Public Law 116–94) is repealed. For any projects that have submitted an application or are being evaluated under the program described in section 3005(b) of such Act prior to the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall— continue to administer the project under the terms of such section as it existed on the day prior to the date of enactment of this Act; and for purposes of providing Federal assistance to such project (and notwithstanding any other provision of law), provide such funds as may be necessary from the amounts provided in section 5338(b) of title 49, United States Code, and division A of this Act.
