Section 5128 of title 49, United States Code, is amended— in subsection
(a)by striking paragraphs
(1)through
(5)and inserting the following: $75,000,000 for fiscal year 2022; $70,000,000 for fiscal year 2023; $71,000,000 for fiscal year 2024; $73,000,000 for fiscal year 2025; and $74,000,000 for fiscal year 2026. ; in subsection (b)— by striking fiscal years 2016 through 2020 and inserting fiscal years 2022 through 2026 ; in paragraph
(1)by striking $21,988,000 and inserting $24,025,000 ; and in paragraph
(4)by striking $1,000,000 and inserting $2,000,000 ; in subsection
(c)by striking $4,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2016 through 2020 and inserting $5,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026 ; in subsection
(d)by striking $1,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2016 through 2020 and inserting $4,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026 ; by redesignating subsection
(e)as subsection (f); and by inserting after subsection
(d)the following: From the Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Fund established under section 5116(h), the Secretary may expend $1,800,000 for each of fiscal years 2022 through 2026 to carry out the grant program under section 5107(j). .
