Section 206 of title 23, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (a)— in paragraph
(1)by striking except for and all that follows and inserting the following: except for— a motorized wheelchair; and in any case in which applicable laws and regulations permit use, an electric bicycle, as defined in section 217(j). ; in paragraph (2)— in subparagraph
(F)by striking and at the end; in subparagraph
(G)by striking the period and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: electric bicycling. ; and by adding at the end the following: Section 113 shall not apply to projects under this section. Funds apportioned to a State under section 104(b) that are obligated for recreational trails and related projects shall be administered as if such funds were made available for purposes described under this section. .
