Section 251A(6) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 ( 2 U.S.C. 901a(6) ) is amended— in subparagraph (B), in the matter preceding clause (i), by striking 2030 and inserting 2031 ; and in subparagraph (C)— in the matter preceding clause (i), by striking 2030 and inserting 2031 ; in clause (i)— by striking 5 and inserting 1/2 6 ; by striking 2.0 and inserting 4.0 ; and by striking the semicolon at the end and inserting ; and ; in clause (ii)— by striking 6-month period beginning on the day after the last day of the period described in clause
(i)and inserting second 6 months ; by striking 4.0 and inserting 0 ; and by striking ; and and inserting a period; and by striking clause (iii).
