Section 242 of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 ( 42 U.S.C. 15881 ) is amended— in subsection (b)(2), by striking before the date of the enactment of this section and inserting before the date of enactment of the ; Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act in the undesignated matter following subsection (b)(3), by striking the date of the enactment of this section and inserting the date of enactment of the ; Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act in subsection (e)(1), in the second sentence, by striking $750,000 and inserting $1,000,000 ; and by striking subsection
(g)and inserting the following: There is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary to carry out this section $125,000,000 for fiscal year 2022, to remain available until expended. .
