Section 7302 of the FAST Act ( 49 U.S.C. 20103 note; Public Law 114–94 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act and inserting December 5, 2022 ; in paragraph (1), by amending subparagraph
(B)to read as follows: to provide the electronic train consist information described in subparagraph
(A)to authorized State and local first responders, emergency response officials, and law enforcement personnel that are involved in the response to, or investigation of, an accident, incident, or public health or safety emergency involving the rail transportation of hazardous materials; ; by striking paragraph (2); by redesignating paragraphs (3), (4), (5), (6), and
(7)as paragraphs (2), (3), (4), (5), and (6), respectively; and in paragraph (3), as redesignated, by striking paragraph
(3)and inserting paragraph
(2); in subsection (b)— by striking paragraphs
(1)and (4); and by redesignating paragraphs (2), (3), (5), (6), and
(7)as paragraphs (1), (2), (3), (4), and (5), respectively; and in subsection (c), by striking , as described in subsection (a)(1)(B), .
