In this Act: The term CFIUS means the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. The term covered United States business means a person (other than an individual) engaged in interstate commerce in the United States who— is partnering or contracting with ByteDance with respect to technology platforms, applications, or other ventures; or is a shareholder of ByteDance.
