Section 508(r) of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 290bb–1(r) ) is amended— by striking paragraph (4); by redesignating paragraphs
(5)and
(6)as paragraphs
(4)and (5), respectively; and in paragraph (4)(B), as so redesignated— in the matter preceding clause (i), by striking The Director and inserting Not later than September 30, 2026, the Director ; and by striking the relevant committees of jurisdiction of the House of Representatives and the Senate and inserting the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions of the Senate and the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives .
