Sec. 1601. Report on debt collection practices and racial disparities

Not later than 18 months after the date of the enactment of this section, the Director of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection shall submit a report to the Financial Services Committee of the House of Representatives and Banking Committee of the Senate that— identifies and analyzes racial disparities relating to debt collection practices; and provides administrative and legislative recommendations to address such disparities.
