The unnamed sub-peak of Mount Whitney, adjacent to Crooks Peak , and located at 36° 34’ 24’’ N, 118° 17’ 23’’ W in the Inyo National Forest in the State of California shall be known and designated as Lewis Peak . Any reference in any law, regulation, document, record, map, or other paper of the United States to the peak shall be considered to be a reference to Lewis Peak .
