Notwithstanding sections 403(b), 403(c)(4), 404(a), 406(b), 407(d), 408(g)(2), 428(e)(2)(B), and 503(a) of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act ( 42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq. ), for any emergency or major disaster declared by the President under such Act with a declaration occurring or an incident period beginning between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2021, the Federal share of assistance, including direct Federal assistance, provided under such sections shall be not less than 90 percent of the eligible cost of such assistance.
Amounts repurposed pursuant to this section that were previously designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement or as being for disaster relief pursuant to the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 or a concurrent resolution on the budget are designated by the Congress as being for an emergency requirement pursuant to section 4001(a)(1) and section 4001(b) of S. Con. Res. 14 (117th Congress), the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2022, or as being for disaster relief pursuant to section 4004(b)(6) and section 4005(f) of S.
Con. Res. 14 (117th Congress), the concurrent resolution on the budget for fiscal year 2022. Subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to fiscal year 2022 and each fiscal year thereafter.
