Section 10503 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ( 42 U.S.C. 254b–2 ) is amended by striking subsection
(c)and inserting the following: There is authorized to be appropriated to the CHC Fund to be transferred to the Secretary of Health and Human Services for capital projects of the community health center program under section 330 of the Public Health Service Act, $10,000,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2022 through 2026. The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall take such steps as may be necessary to expedite the award of grants for capital projects pursuant to paragraph
(1)and ensure that some such awards are made during fiscal year 2022. .
