Section 40295 of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 ( 34 U.S.C. 12341 ) is amended— in subsection (a)(3), by striking women and inserting adults, youth, ; in subsection (a)— in paragraph (2), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (3)(B), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: to develop, expand, implement, and improve the quality of sexual assault forensic medical examination or sexual assault nurse examiner programs. ; in subsection (b)(5), by inserting after by the lack of access to the following: quality forensic sexual assault examinations by trained healthcare providers, ; and in subsection (e)(1), by striking 2014 through 2018 and inserting 2022 through 2026 .
