Section 120 of the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005 ( 34 U.S.C. 20123 ) is amended— in subsection (a), by adding at the end the following: The purpose of this grant program is to ensure that all underserved populations (as such term is defined in section 40002 of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 ( 34 U.S.C. 12291(a) ) are given non-exclusionary consideration in each grant cycle. Periodic priority may be placed on certain underserved populations and forms of violence to meet identified needs and must be accompanied by a non-priority option. ; in subsection (d)— in paragraph (4)— by striking effectiveness and inserting response ; and by inserting population-specific before training ; in paragraph (5), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following: developing, enlarging, or strengthening culturally specific programs and projects to provide culturally specific services regarding, responses to, and prevention of female genital mutilation; or strengthening the response of social and human services by providing population-specific training for service providers on domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking in underserved populations. ; and in subsection (g)— by striking $2,000,000 and inserting $10,000,000 ; and by striking 2014 through 2018 and inserting 2022 through 2026 .
