Section 1301 of division B of the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000 ( 34 U.S.C. 12464 ) is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (3)— by striking educate and inserting ;
(A)educate by inserting and after the semicolon at the end; and by adding at the end the following: establish community-based initiatives within the court system (such as court watch programs, victim assistants, pro se victim assistance programs, or community-based supplementary services); . in paragraph (7), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (8)— by striking to improve and inserting improve ; and by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by inserting after paragraph
(8)the following: develop and implement restorative practices (as such term is defined in section 40002(a) of the Violence Against Women Act of 1994). ; and in subsection (e), by striking 2014 through 2018 and inserting 2022 through 2026 .
