Section 316 of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1427 ) is amended— by redesignating subsection
(f)as subsection (g); and by inserting after subsection
(e)the following: The Secretary of Homeland Security shall impose a fee in an amount not to exceed $50 for the consideration of an application for naturalization. Nothing in this subsection may be construed to limit the authority of the Secretary to set adjudication fees for other benefit applications other than naturalization in accordance with section 286(m). .
