Section 216 of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1186a ) is amended— in subsection (b)(1)(A)(ii), by inserting or has ceased to satisfy the criteria for being considered a permanent partnership under this Act, after terminated, ; in subsection (c)(4)(B), by striking terminated (other than through the death of the spouse) and inserting terminated, or has ceased to satisfy the criteria for being considered a permanent partnership under this Act, other than through the death of the spouse, ; and in subsection (d)(1)(A)(i)(II), by inserting or has not ceased to satisfy the criteria for being considered a permanent partnership under this Act, after terminated, .
