Section 201(d) of the Homeland Security Act of 2002 ( 6 U.S.C. 121(d) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: To provide timely threat information regarding election infrastructure to the chief State election official (as defined in section 3601 of the For the People Act of 2019 ) of the State with respect to which such information pertains. .
