Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall— identify and review the current policies and tools used to integrate launch and reentry (as those terms are defined in section 50902 of title 51, United States Code) into the national airspace system; consider whether the policies and tools identified in paragraph
(1)need to be updated to more efficiently and safely manage the national airspace system; and submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report on the findings under paragraphs
(1)and (2), including recommendations for how to more efficiently and safely manage the national airspace system. In conducting the review under subsection (a), the Secretary shall consult with such members of the commercial space launch and reentry sector and commercial aviation sector as the Secretary considers appropriate to ensure adequate representation across those industries. In this section, the term appropriate committees of Congress means— the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate ; the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology of the House of Representatives ; and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives .
