It is the sense of Congress that the People’s Republic of China’s attempts to exclude Taiwan from international organizations— are detrimental to global health, civilian air safety, and efforts to counter transnational crime; and are a national security concern of the United States. It is the policy of the United States to advocate for Taiwan’s meaningful participation in the United Nations, the World Health Assembly, the International Civil Aviation Organization, the International Criminal Police Organization, and other international bodies as appropriate.
