Not later than 2 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the Commission shall submit to each committee of the Senate and each committee of the House of Representatives that has jurisdiction over the Commission a report on the processes of platforms that offer mobile and online applications for ensuring that, of those applications that are directed to children or minors, the applications operate in accordance with— this Act, the amendments made by this Act, and rules promulgated under this Act; rules promulgated by the Commission under section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act ( 15 U.S.C. 45 ) relating to unfair or deceptive acts or practices in marketing; and any other Federal or State law relating to the privacy of children or minors.
