There is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary to carry out this Act $50,000,000, to remain available for expenditure until 15 years after the date of the enactment of this Act. No amount appropriated to carry out this Act may be used to provide any insurance, guarantee, or other credit enhancement to an eligible entity under which a Federal payment would be made to an eligible entity as the result of such entity failing to achieve an outcome specified in an agreement under the pilot program.
Of the amounts appropriated to carry out this Act in any fiscal year, the Secretary may not obligate more than 15 percent to evaluate under sections 5(i) and 6(i) the implementation and outcomes of VISIT pay for results projects under the pilot program. In any fiscal year, the Secretary may use not more than 5 percent of the amounts appropriated or otherwise made available to carry out this Act for the task force under section 7. In any fiscal year, the Secretary may use not more than 5 percent of the amounts appropriated or otherwise made available to carry out this Act for administrative expenses.
