The Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the Director of the National Institutes of Health and the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, shall carry out research with respect to non-opioid methods of pain management, including non-pharmaceutical remedies for pain and integrative medicine solutions. To carry out this section, there are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary for each of fiscal years 2021 through 2026.
