Sec. 304. Report on sanctions relating to use of chemical weapons by the Russian Federation

Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, and annually thereafter, the Secretary of State shall submit to the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives a report that includes an assessment of— whether the mandatory sanctions required by the Chemical and Biological Weapons and Warfare Elimination Act of 1991 ( 22 U.S.C. 5601 et seq.) have been imposed with respect to the Russian Federation; and whether the Government of the Russian Federation has taken any steps to avoid sanctions required by that Act after the determination of the United States with respect to the use of chemical weapons by the Russian Federation.
Each report required by subsection
(a)shall be submitted in unclassified form and shall include a classified annex.
