Amounts made available under the headings Project-Based Rental Assistance , Housing for the Elderly and Housing for Persons With Disabilities in title XII of division B of the CARES Act ( Public Law 116–136 ) and under such headings in this title of this Act may be used, notwithstanding any other provision of law, to provide additional funds to maintain operations for such housing, for providing supportive services, and for taking other necessary actions to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus, including to actions to self-isolate, quarantine, or to provide other coronavirus infection control services as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including providing relocation services for residents of such housing to provide lodging at hotels, motels, or other locations: , That the amounts repurposed pursuant to this section that were previously designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 are designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(i) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985.
