The Secretary of State, in consultation with relevant United States Government agencies and the appropriate congressional committees, is encouraged to fully implement section 201(c) of the Asia Reassurance Initiative Act of 2018 ( Public Law 115–409 ) with regard to United States Government efforts to counter the strategic influence of the People’s Republic of China.
