Section 1861(v)(1) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1395(v)(1) ) is amended— in subparagraph (T)— in clause (iv), by striking and at the end; in clause (v)— by striking during fiscal year and inserting during fiscal years ; by striking or a subsequent fiscal year and inserting through 2021 ; and by striking the period at the end and inserting , and ; and by adding at the end the following new clause: for cost reporting periods beginning during fiscal year 2021 or a subsequent fiscal year, by the percent applicable for cost reporting periods beginning during the previous fiscal year, increased (through fiscal year 2024) by 10 percentage points. ; in subparagraph (V)— in clause (i)— in subclause (III), by striking and at the end; in subclause (IV)— by striking during fiscal year and inserting during fiscal years 2015 through 2021 ; and by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new subclause: for cost reporting periods beginning during fiscal year 2021 or a subsequent fiscal year, the percent applicable for cost reporting periods beginning during the previous fiscal year, increased (through fiscal year 2024) by 10 percentage points. ; and in clause (ii)— in subclause (III), by striking and at the end; and in subclause (IV)— by striking a subsequent fiscal year and inserting fiscal years 2015 through 2021 ; by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new subclause: for cost reporting periods beginning during fiscal year 2021 or a subsequent fiscal year, shall be reduced by the percent applicable for cost reporting periods beginning during the previous fiscal year, increased (through fiscal year 2024) by 10 percentage points. ; and in subparagraph (W)(i)— in subclause (II), by striking and at the end; in subclause (III)— by striking during a subsequent fiscal year and inserting during fiscal years 2015 through 2021 ; and by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new subclause: for cost reporting periods beginning during fiscal year 2021 or a subsequent fiscal year, by the percent applicable for cost reporting periods beginning during the previous fiscal year, increased (through fiscal year 2024) by 10 percentage points. .
