In this subtitle, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Select Committee on Intelligence, the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, the Committee on Finance, the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; and the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the Committee on Financial Services, the Committee on Ways and Means, and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives.
