The Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Chief of the Forest Service, and the Secretary, acting through the Director of the Office of Wildland Fire, may enter into a memorandum of agreement with the Longleaf Alliance to carry out a national prescribed fire education program, including the use of the character known as Burner Bob . A prescribed fire education program authorized under subsection
(a)may include— public service advertisements; the use of social media; campaign and educational activities and materials; commercial licensing; character images and appearances; and awards and recognition.
