The remaining unobligated balances of funds as of September 30, 2020, from amounts provided to the Department of Defense for Operation and Maintenance under the headings Operation and Maintenance, Army and Operation and Maintenance, Navy and Operation and Maintenance, Marine Corps and Operation and Maintenance, Air Force and Operation and Maintenance, Army Reserve and Operation and Maintenance, Army National Guard and Operation and Maintenance, Air National Guard and Operation and Maintenance, Defense-Wide in title III of division B of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act ( Public Law 116–136 ), are hereby permanently rescinded, and an amount of additional new budget authority equivalent to the amount rescinded from each account is hereby appropriated on September 30, 2020, to remain available until September 30, 2021, and shall be available for the same purposes, in addition to other funds as may be available for such purposes, and under the same authorities for which the funds were originally provided in Public Law 116–136 : , That the amounts rescinded pursuant to this section that were previously designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 are designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(i) of that Act:
Provided , That such amount is designated by the Congress as being for an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(i) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985. Provided further
