Notwithstanding the limitations in sections 609(i) and 609(j) of the Millennium Challenge Act of 2003 ( 2211 U.S.C. 7708(j) , 7715), the Millennium Challenge Corporation may, subject to the availability of funds, extend any compact in effect as of January 29, 2020, for up to one additional year, to account for delays related to coronavirus: , That the Corporation shall notify the Committees on Appropriations and Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committees on Appropriations and Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives prior to providing any such extension.
